The Center for Dissemination and Utilization (CDU) is an applied research center of the Orelena Hawks Puckett Institute. The major aim of CDU initiatives is to promote the use of evidence-based products, materials, and training methods.
The CDU is the major means for disseminating information about Puckett Institute products and research findings. This is accomplished through multimedia approaches to product development and knowledge utilization.
A major focus of CDU is the study of the characteristics and consequences of different dissemination and utilization strategies.
